Designed for camcorders with 1/2" image sensors and interchangeable lens mounts, the Letus 1/2" Relay Lens can be mounted directly to the camera, letting you attach Letus 35mm adapters--such as the Extreme, Elite, or Ultimate--with minimal light loss. These adapters allow your camera to achieve reduced depth of field and thus more cinematic imagery. Compatible cameras for this lens include the Sony PMW-EX3.

35mm full frame size
(Note on full frame relays: When using a full frame relay with wider angle lenses, you may experience vignetting, especially with less light or closing the aperture of the lens or relay. Some things you can do to minimize vignetting caused by natural light fall off are shoot with more lighting, use longer lenses that aren't as prone to sharp fall off, use high quality optics which handle fall off better, or use an academy frame relay -- 1/2" and 2/3" only -- which uses the center of the lens and will not get into the fall off zone.)
