Cascade Microphones Michael Joly overview

  • 1Description

The Gomez Short Ribbon Microphone from Cascade Microphones features a single-ribbon element and true figure 8 polar pattern that is well suited for recording and live sound applications. The Gomez's single ribbon design is coupled with a Lundahl LL2913 transformer to deliver a sensitivity and frequency response well suited for reproducing "soft-top" background vocals, guitar cabinets, piano and more. Its single layer grille reduces standing wave reflections between the grille and transducer to allow recordings with greater clarity.

Short single-ribbon motor for broad vertical and horizontal pickup
Free from off-axis coloration
Lundahl LL2913 transformer
Tailored high frequency response ideal for guitar cab use or vintage-sounding "soft top" vocals
