The Q-Logic SANbox 1400 10-Port 4GB Fibre Channel Switch with SFPs though small in size delivers big-time capabilities. With 10 ports of 4GB throughput, the SANbox 1400 allows the smallest organizations to enjoy the high performance and consolidation benefits of storage networking.

The SANbox 1400's wizards guide you through installation and configuration, so you don't need to hire a SAN expert. Extensive interoperability testing performed on the switches ensure they work in virtually any environment. The SANbox 1400's "no-wait" routing guarantees maximum performance independent of data traffic.

The SANbox 1400 also features Non-Disruptive Code Load and Activation, a director-class feature that provides SAN administrators with a non disruptive way of performing the frequent switch code loads required to maintain interoperability when new equipment is added to the SAN. NDCLA reduces scheduled hardware outages for firmware upgrades, resulting in improved ROI and better use of IT resources.

Plug and Play Installation
Simple wizard tools lead you through the installation and configuration of the SAN. Seamless integration with the optional SANsurfer express tool provides management of your SAN plus Microsoft VDS compliant storage from a single tool.

As an entry-level switch, its low cost means the smallest business can now afford and enjoy the benefits of a networked storage without having to hire a storage expert.
Small, Powerful Package
