The Formatt 95mm Soft Low Contrast Warming 3 Filter is another in Formatt's excellent line of diffusion and refraction filters. This is a useful filter when you need to hide any small imperfections in your subject's skin. In addition, this filter can be used as a low contrast filter since it permits more detail in the shadow areas. The added benefit of this filter is that it adds a nice warmth to the photo. When shooting in open shade or on cloudy days, the tone of the light tends to be bluish/gray - not flattering to skin tones. This filter will bring back a natural "warmth" to the skin giving your subject a healthier more natural appearance.
