12x25 Digital Camera Binocular is rated 2.6 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from surprised I recently joined a birding group so these are great! The 12x zoom is really nice, and having a camera built in is an excellent idea. But...I was quite disappointed that the camera does not zoom when the binoculars zoom so the picture is taken at your actual distance so no closeup of the birds I will be watching for. The attached camera was what sold me on this product. And isn't that the reason a camera is supposed to be attached?? If Vivatar would make one that does zoom with the binoculars I will definitely purchase one!!! The quality is wonderful with the exception of camerdisappointment....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from this is a cheap childs toy Vivitar falsesly claims this is a digi-cam binocular. Its actual a basic binocular with a seperate cheap poor quality childs toy digital camera attched to the binocular but it doesnt use the binocluar lens so the longest distance you can take a picture with this camera is about 20 feet. Same as a cheap digital no frills camera. Very disappointing - same is true for all 3 models vivitar makes of digi-cam binoculars The box does not include the 26 page manual - just a 4 page quick-start guide. the manual is only available by email from vivitar tech support.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from vivitar 12x25 camera binoculars I had the first chance to use these binoculars on Saturday night (06-22-13) during the supermoon. The binoculars worked great. I could see the moon and so much detail. I decided to take pictures with these binoculars to show everyone the supermoon up close. I took 5 or 6 pictures. I can in and download the pictures to the computer. What I got was a bright circle on a black background. The camera will not take a picture of what you are seeing. The next morning I took pictures of a boat motor that is at least 200 feet away. I could see the numbers on the motor. when I download the pictures I just could make out that there was a motor on the boat. What is the purpose of having a camera on the binoculars if you can not take a picture of what you are looking at up close. These are the worst things ever. I have returned them. I would not suggest anyone purchase these binoculars.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from it is good and not so good Very nice all the way around. Holds a large SD card (up to 8GB) for this type of product it has a very nice camera size (8MP) compared to most having 2 or even less. Compact in size. Runs on AA Batteries so pack extra. Has very limited instructions and their website is hard to navigate, (had to send email and complain a little). I was a little disappointed in the fact that I believed I would be able to view and take pictures as if I was looking through the binocular, my bad. Still good for what we are doing to be using it for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from pure junk The camera takes very poor pictures fuzzy and not what you see in the binoculars. There is pratically no magnification at all, not one picture worth keeping. Buttons are cumbersome and hard to use. It is pure junk and not worth anything.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice HI Rez Image The image size is very good for this price device. The color was also very good. The SD card is a terrific feature for getting images to a photo editor which you will need! While the images are very good the camera lacks a telephoto lens. To get the image field of view close to the binocular's you will have to crop significantly. Fortunately, the native image size holds up pretty good during this editing. The unit is light weight and will not add much to your gear weight. Enjoy the good binocs but be prepared to edit. The digital image.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Waste Your Money! Bought for a Christmas present for my father and it was the biggest disappointment of a Christmas gift ever. The camera is terrible quality, does not take photos when zoomed in as advertised, on and on. BEWARE, don't waste your money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of Junk This camera binocular is really not worth the money. It does not shoot what you see through the binoculars. It's a fixed focal point, so if your looking at pretty little black and yellow bird through the binoculars, you may not be able to find it in the picture. Of all the pictures I took, not one was worth keeping.
