What weight does he carry?

I've only used it with a Lumix DC-FZ80 which is moderately heavy and the results have been very steady. I'm triggering the camera remotely, though, so can't say how steady it would be if pressing the release on the camera. A hefty tripod is essential, though.

question

Would you be able to put a tripod fluid head on these as well ? Something like from the Manfrotto Monopod 500 ?
Asked by: Paul
I believe so. Basically anything that mounts to a tripod can be mounted to this bar.

question

Do the clamps on the main body slide left or right, or are they in fixed position? I'm hoping to mount this to my telescope, and I need a gap through which my viewfinder can see. Thanks for any answers!

Hello the two clamps on the bar so slide and have easy release clamps.

question

I have a large amateur telescope (10 Meade LX200GPS) on a big pier, so this unit would be attached to a very secure mount. My intention is to attach a Canon 6D DSLR (possibly with the 200mm zoom) and a 10.1 tablet. Has anyone tried something like this? I have 2 concerns.First, would the device become unbalanced due to the different weight of the two attachments?Second, some reviewers have said the clamps won't handle any weight? Does anyone have an opinion as to whether this is a problem with ALL units or just an occasional bad unit? Thanks for any help.
Asked by: Ed I.
The clamps won't be able to handle the equipments that you have mentioned.

question

I have Gitzo legs with a Kirk BH-1 ballhead. Is there a way to attach this bar to the ballhead using a Arca-type plate? Thanks.
Asked by: Gene N.
As stated in the description, the bar has a 3/8 as well as a 1/4-20 adapter on all mounts. Depending on what kind of camera(s) & accessories you plan to mount, there might be an issue with tightening the ballhead enough to keep from slipping.

question

Where can I order a bracket to mount a third camera?
Asked by: Anonymous
Hey there - I ordered Pedco UltraClamp Assembly for Cameras, Scopes and Binoculars from amazon - these clamps come in different sizes for different uses, but I have 2 sizes and they both work fine to add another camera to this bar.
