The clamp is heavy-duty and has options to use it in 3 ways. However, the included tightening star bolt for the mic stand adapter is too short. It needs to be 1/4 in longer to reach the stem inside to lock it in place. It locks tightly only in the straight position and doesn't allow the adapter to be locked when one of the side holes is used. This is the only the reason I did not give it 5 stars. The only remedy I found for this is to replace the star bolt with another one I had from the old broken tripod.

Could you tell me the size of the long bolt that clamps down, and the space between the clamp area? It's for a unique setup. Thanks!

Diameter of bolt is 9/32 at the threads. Space in clamp area is 2 1/8 not taking into account the space occupied by the head of the bold.
