The 3.5x35 ACOG Machine Gun Optic Riflescope from Trijicon sits at a moderate height on top of the receiver. While delivering a mid-range 3.5x magnification, the efficient 35 mm objective produces a bright, crisp, and clear sight picture. Trijicon's proprietary tritium/fiber optic technology ensures that the reticle remains highly-visible 24/7/365. Combining the obvious assets of a generous FOV, bright reticle, and moderate magnification ensures the operator's ability to engage targets with confidence and outstanding fire-control capability. Any target - moving or otherwise - will be easier to acquire, lock on to, and hit successfully with the first shot.
This ACOG is configured with a LaRue quick-release mount, and a dual illuminated red horseshoe with dot reticle that's calibrated for the 5.56 NATO M249 LMG. A set of flip-up caps, a killFLASH ARD, and an RMR 9 MOA red-dot sight with the mount are also included.
Note: Designated by the U.S. Marine Corps as its SDO - Squad automatic weapon-Day-Optic
Broad-band multicoated lenses enhance clarity and increase light transmission by minimizing flare, glare, reflections
Housing: forged 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum alloy
Waterproof: nitrogen purged and fully sealed for all-weather reliability
LaRue Tactical Quick Detach Mount: designed for mounting on Mil-Std 1913 Picatinny rails. Dual throw-levers ensure rapid installation/removal/reinstallation with repeatable return-to-zero
BAC: The Bindon Aiming Concept was devised by Trijicon's founder, Glyn Bindon. The BAC method of aiming with both eyes open ensures a far superior sense of balance, and a wider field-of-view. Combining these benefits with a magnified Trijicon sight gives you a considerable advantage over your target.
Red horseshoe with dot ballistic reticle: calibrated for M249 LMG/5.56x45 - an illuminated horseshoe and dot sit at the center of the FOV. They are surrounded by posts, stadia, crosses and hash-marks that indicate hold-off and hold-over points for the 5.56x45 NATO M249 SAW
Dual illumination: 24/7/365 - battery-free tritium/fiber-optic technology provides the horseshoe and dot with a highly-visible red glow
RMR Reflex Sight with 9 MOA Dot Reticle
The Trijicon RMR Sight provides optimum red-dot visibility against the target for rapid target acquisition and precise shot placement. Designed with longevity and repeatability in mind - the RMR (Ruggedized Mini Reflex) features a durable forged aluminum housing and hard-coated window to ensure long-term reliable service
This permutation of the RMR is configured with a 9 MOA LED red-dot reticle that's powered by a single CR2032 battery. The reticle remains red and visible whether it's day or nighttime, or if the battery is on or off. The illumination system automatically self-adjusts to match ambient lighting conditions
