    Raynox HD-6600 Pro Reviews

HD-6600PRO-49 Wide Angle Conversion Lens (0.66x) is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Addition for my Camcorder! I ordered this lens along with a used Panasonic HC-X920 that I purchased from B&H. I couldn't be happier. The lens seems to be of very high quality, and it is so nice to finally have that extra field of view for inside and landscape shots.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Vignetting with Panasonic x900 during image stabilizing I read and saw all possible on-line reviews about this product. It is not available in Israel, so I had to order it overseas. In all reviews, nobody mentioned that when I pan the camera and image stabilizing starts to work, while the zoom is in its widest position, that is slight, but visible vignetting in the corners. I have to either pan slowly or not to use it at widest opening. Besides this, it is not bad for pricing. It comes with nice box for protection and front and back covers. Due to vignetting, you can't attach filter in the front.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice! I used one on my Panasonic HC-X920 in our church autotorium and got great shots! I was using an identical HC-X920 w/o a wide angle & I didn't see any difference at all in image quality or color! Not as wide as a GoPro but way better image for what I do.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Edges and Corners too soft The centre is sharp, as most wide angle converters do. However, the edges and corners are out of focus and becomes too soft for any real use. This persisted even when I set my aperture down to F22. I cannot use this on my Sony A7RII + Samyang 35mm lens. I had better result with my cheaper 0.45x WA converter (except the Chromatic dispersion are bad). Raynod has no CA issue but too soft.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent sharpness, but VERY obvious edge distortions For what it is, this converter helps keep the sharpness of your lens pretty decently. However, as some other reviews have stated, there are VERY obvious edge distortions. Definitely noticeable. There are also very obvious flaring so if you decide to keep the lens, make sure you have a filter to help with the flaring.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good I bought this for my Panasonic HC-V750. It works good but when fully zoomed out I can see the sides of the lens. I don't believe this is the fault of the lens but more so the cam. Just not sure these are truly compatible together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wide Angle Help We shoot primarily homes so this is a must have to help showcase homes inside. It gets to about 22mm so much better than without. Kevin with Arizona Imaging

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helpful filter with good optical quality This fits perfectly on my Panasonic HC-V770 video recorder and does a nice job of capturing a wider view. The optics seem good and it screws on so it's secure.
