RPS Lighting RS-RM1 overview

  • 1Description

The 3-in-1 Remote from Dot Line is a wireless remote control system that can trigger your camera's shutter, or fire studio and off-camera flash units. When the transmitter is in camera mode it uses a two-position switch, the first to control auto focus and exposure, the second to trigger the shutter.

Both the transmitter and the receiver have dedicated batteries, ensuring that your camera or flash battery will last longer. The remote's 16 channels prevent accidental firing from other nearby flashes at a wedding or other photo shoot. The receiver can mount on a camera's accessory shoe, on a light stand or on a tripod; whatever the shooting conditions are, you will find a convenient way to set up your lighting system.

    RPS Lighting RS-RM1 reviews

Studio 3-In-1 Wireless Remote System For Nikon D90/D5000 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great and as advertised I received the product just hours before a shoot and it worked flawlessly. Easy to set up and use. The remote fired the flash or shutter every time when I wanted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for studio lights or on location I use it for studio portraits with strobes and also on location with flashes. Its also nice to shoot wildlife from a distance with the shutter remote feature.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not with an SB-700 I bought this because it claimed to be set up for a Nikon D90. Yeah, but: the wireless flash trigger refuses to work with the Nikon SB700. It works fine with my Bower SFD826N (which more and more, I consider a superior (and much less costly) flash compared to the SB700.) Haven't tested this yet with studio lights. The remote shutter release works fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from remote shutter release The rps 3 in 1 shutter release is flawless, as I use it to photograph birds in my yard. With this devise I don't scare the birds since I am 40 ft. away. A very good buy and product.
