I received my order almost 2 weeks ago, one of the six lights was broken and it has still not been replaced. The lights are great so this review is more faulting B&H for not replacing my broken light sooner.

question

If I were to use these in a 2-bank commercial T-12 light fixture, could I replace the commercial ballasts with the proper Kino ballast to get the higher output? Can the Kino ballasts be purchased separately?
Asked by: Oscar
While Kino Flo ballasts are sold separately, they are only compatible with their respective Kino Flo fixtures.

question

I just want to buy one of these Kino Daylight tubes, not 6, but have spent 15 minutes searching with different keywords and can't find it on here. Anyone have a link for that? Thanks!
Asked by: Graham
B&H told me they didn't carry the single tubes when I requested. Adorama does carry the single tubes.

question

Can these be used in commercial fluorescent light fixtures? Any pros or cons to lighting an office setting by putting these in the existing overhead fixtures?
Asked by: Elan
Yes these Kino bulbs style T-12 can physically fit into the commercial T-12 fixture. But note that the bulbs have extra chemistry in the Kino bulbs to work with the higher output ignition from the Kino ballast. So on one hand you get the better color of the Kino bulbs but you won't get the higher output. You also risk bad color when you have a commercial ballast that's not working proper or cannot provide clean electricity to ignite the Kino bromides etc. Good luck. haze.
