    12-Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from good but The space between the center outlets and the side outlets is too tight when plugging in brick adaptor plugs into the sides they will touch against the center plug. This is my chief concern and sadly using five different size and shape adaptor plugs on the sides all came in contact with the center plug. One didn't fit at all and thus rendering the center outlet in front of it useless. Side to side one had to juggle adaptor bricks to get them all to fit on the outside plugs so despite room given in the design it still was not enough for many of the accessories I plugged in. Good surge protector but a bit more space or swivel stations would have been a better design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a Bargain! I use this under my audio workstation for the variety of wall warts and plugs for my computer, and audio gear. 12-outlets including SIX wall warts is great in this small power strip! I trust Belkin products. I did not know that it had additional jacks to protect telephone and coaxial cable for the tv. I may try running the phone through it. Maybe it can protect the audio system from any wierd grounding problem the phone system may add. The local stores sell this for around $40. More than twice what I paid for it here. One oddity: The screw mounting holes on the backside seem to be upside down. Maybe I need to try mounting it and I will see a new perspective.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BEWARE!! Belkin Warranty Claim is False! I bought this about a year ago to protect my home theater components. I had lightning strike outside my house and knocked out my cable box and my Blu-ray player immediately started having problems of not waking up. I had never had a problem with my Blu-ray player before that night of the lightning strike, so it's obvious the problem is over-voltage. I had to pay $13 for shipping to send my power strip to Belkin. Today I got a letter with my original power strip stating they did not find any damage. WOW. Yes, this thing is not smoldering and half melted, but it DID LET LIGHTNING KILL MY BLU-RAY PLAYER! That is a guarantee. I perform analysis of electronic products all the time, and I know well electrical over stress does not need to be a total burnout to cause problems. Apparently their technicians are not as good as my company's, or (as I expect) they are supposed to return anything they can possibly get out of. I have removed Belkin products from my house (4 other power strips) and will never buy another. You're only as good as your warranty, and if you don't stand behind your products I won't purchase them. If you don't stand behind your warranty then don't offer it!!!!!!!! I'm using APC now based off friend's recent good experience with their claims.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No reset switch. I have no idea how this performs as a surge suppressor. And it is designed so if there is a power spike, there is no reset switch - instead it will have to go to the landfill. Because of this, I can't give it 5 stars. However, if all you need is a multi-outlet extension box, then it does the job well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Complicated. I can't speak to the electronics in this thing - I have no reason to think they aren't great, but the outer shell has some dumb design flaws. First one is that the phone jacks are labeled clearly enough IN and OUT but the plastic loop that's supposed to gather your loose cords is fastened permanently right over the top of the words. No kidding! I was looking all over for some print or raised letters and found them finally when I pried the loop away and peaked under. Second thing is that the little holes in the back for attaching the unit to your wall with screws are oriented upside down. When you hang it the way you see it in the photos here and on the box, the thing drops off the wall. I've got mine hanging upside down and it's fine except the cord loop is on top now, and the switch is on the bottom. Funny thing is though that upside down orients the grounding hole in the outlets correctly upward, as opposed to downward the the way we all seem to like seeing little faces. The good electricians out there know what I'm talking about...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does just what it says it does This product does just what it says it does. The only shortcoming is that it's not really wall-mountable (or able to be secured to the ground). It has two little slots in the back to allow you to hang it on the wall, but that's different from being able to secure it to the wall. Anyone who has ever been frustrated by trying to pull out just a single plug from one of these surge suppressors without moving the entire unit would appreciate true wall-mountability.
