With the Panasonic SC-BTT750 Blu-ray Disc Home Theater Sound System, bringing the cinema experience into your home has never been easier. The only accessory you'll be missing is popcorn! The nucleus of the SC-BBTT750 is the combination 3D high-def Blu-ray player and A/V receiver, brought to life by a 5.1 channel surround sound speaker system. The Blu-ray player broadcasts in full 1080p HD, is 3D-ready and includes a powerful 1000W FM receiver. It's topped off with a built-in iPod / iPhone dock. The speaker system includes two front speakers, two surround speakers, a center speaker and a subwoofer.
The Blu-ray player uses the frame sequential method to bring cinema-like realism to 3D movies at home. Separate images for the left and right eyes are recorded with 1920 X 1080 full-HD quality and alternately played at high speed. By watching these images through special LCD glasses that are timed to open and close the right and left lenses in synchronization with the alternating images, you are immersed in exciting 3D realism. This brings cinema-level images right into your living room, without the problems of image deterioration and blurring that were common to conventional 3D systems.
Panasonic's PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus is the technology behind the crisp and brilliant color associated with this 3D Blu-Ray player. It is a high-quality image-processing technology developed to translate each pixel of the Blu-ray disc video signal in the vertical direction with absolute precision. It reproduces color data with twice the accuracy of conventional systems to keep colors vibrant, true and defined.
The speaker system is driven by 1000 total watts of continuous power. The speaker boxes were designed to limit unwanted reflections, bringing out high-quality, pure direct sound. The front speakers and surround speakers have 125W per channel, while the center speaker and subwoofer have 250W respectively. The receiver provides one analog RCA input and one digital optical input as well as an HDMI output, which is the required interface when dealing with high-def 3D. There is also an Ethernet and USB port, which are used in conjunction with the wireless LAN system.
The included wireless LAN adapter makes it possible to connect to a network. With an Internet connection, you can take advantage of Viera Cast and subscribe to BD-Live. You can go online and access extra Blu-ray disc features that aren't contained on the disc itself. You can also play games and chat with directors. With Viera Cast and an Internet connection, you'll enjoy online content on your HDTV. In addition to popular sites like YouTube and Picasa Web Albums, you can stream movies from Netflix, enjoy FOX Sports, Twitter and listen to music on Pandora Internet Radio. All of this is possible without an actual PC.
You can also enjoy your music by taking advantage of the universal iPod dock. The built-in dock makes it possible to view your iPod / iPhone menu on your HDTV. You can even scroll through playlists with the Viera remote control. Of course you can use the dock to play your favorite music, but it will also play video and show pictures from your iPod / iPhone on your HDTV as well.
The SC-BTT75 further replicates that cinema feel by offering several Dolby and DTS digital decoding formats. This will truly give you that sense of immersion which comes from watching movies in 3D, surrounded by rich, sparkling sound; but the SC-BTT750 will also create new drama in your favorite older movies as well. The life-like 3D and enveloping surround sound will add such a new dimension to home entertainment that you may have to start charging friends admission at the door.
