Lorex Remote Surveillance Camera
Key Features
  • Powered by Yoics
  • Wireless Connectivity (WiFi)
  • 354° Pan / 125° Tilt
  • Pan & Tilt Control from iPhone / iPad
The Lorex Remote Surveillance Camera is a PTZ camera that you can access for viewing and control over the Internet. Thanks to Yoics (Your Own Internet Connected Stuff) technology, even those who are not network savvy will find this camera easy to set up and operate. There's also no need to go looking for a PC as you can view and control this camera directly from your portable digital device such as an iPhone or iPad. This gives you the peace of mind of knowing that you are never more than a click away from viewing your home and property. And because the camera operates wirelessly (WiFi), you can quickly set up the camera in the area you need it to monitor. For expansion purposes, you can purchase additional cameras and use the included software program to view and control up to 6 cameras on a local network.

You can set the camera to follow a tour - for example in a retail store you can have it move from the entrance to the cash register to the merchandise racks and then back to the entrance. This way you can secure a large area using only a single camera. You can program the camera for up to 8 different tours.

This camera captures quality video with 640 x 480 resolution at 30 frames per second. A built-in IR illumination system enables the camera to view in the dark up to 30' away. An IR cut filter mechanism further enhances image visibility during nighttime hours. The camera comes equipped with a built-in microphone, which when paired with external speakers of your choice will let you hear and speak over the network.

You can set the camera to send you an email alert along with an attached image whenever motion is detected in the surveillance scene. There is also an alarm input and output port for interfacing an external alarm or relay device. Events can also be triggered by other Lorex cameras on the network.
