SD7 Power Cable for Turbo 2x2 and Turbo 3 is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from SD7 will not work with 5D Mark III I am a press photographer for a major Korean newspaper. I bought the SD7 on a faith that it will fit my Canon 5D Mark III. Well, NOPE. I even read Travis feedback and chatted with a rep from B&H. NOPE. Shipping was quick. Ordered it on a Wed morning and received it on Friday with 2 day shipping. I left on my trip on Saturday early morning. I opened it on my drive to Eastern Sierras from OC. Put it inside my 5D Mark III and nothing. My Turbo 3 wont even light up. I took a look at my Mark III battery and the contact location is different than the SD7. Though Mark II & Mark III takes the same battery, the SD7 I received has battery contact locations at the ends of the adapter. Another words, battery will go into my camera, but it will never supply power to it. I just got back. I have not even had a chance to unload my car. I turned on my computer to leave this comment. I believe Quantum totally screwed up. The box states SD7. The cable states SD7. Yet, this will not supply my Mark III or my friends Mark II. This mishap put a huge hamper on some of my plans. Photos to follow tomorrow. I'm going to ship this defective/junk product back and I will demand a correct replacement

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For Indoor Sports Photography Purchased for used with a Quantum Instruments Turbo 3 and Canon 7D to eliminate the need for swapping out batteries when using the Canon 7D's AF Servo Mode. It should prove useful for other battery draining activities like video and live view. The part that slides into the camera battery compartment is stamped Canon DC Coupler DR-E6. As the Canon DC Coupler DR-E6 is $, the extra $ for a different plug seems excessive, especially when the entire Canon ACK-E6 AC Adapter Kit costs $.Ordered from B&H and received next day.The cable is about 87 inches long. Since I wear the battery pack near my waist, a velcro strap is used for cable management. The cable has a label with ''Quantum SD7 Camera Cable'' and serial number on front and ''For use with Turbo 3, 2x2 and compatible cameras...'' on the back. The cable plug does not have a tab that locks the plug into the Quantum Turbo 3 battery. If I use it with flash, I will wrap or run the straight cable through the coiled cable of the flash. Took off one star for poor instructions. The cable needs to be routed at a right angle through the bottom of the coupler. While the Canon 7D has a removable battery compartment cover, don't remove it or leave it open as the camera will not power on. Close the battery compartment door slowly and you will see a piece of rubber/plastic move out of the way for the cable to fit.The instructions don't state the order in which the components are attached or turned on. I start with battery and camera turned off. I attach the plug to the battery receptacle marked ''B'', insert the coupler into the battery compartment, close the battery compartment, turn on the battery, wait until the lights stop flickering and then turn on the camera. Removal is in reverse order: turn off camera, turn off battery, open the battery compartment, remove the coupler from the battery compartment and unplug the cable from the battery.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Add more power to your 5D Mark II I love the ability to extend a photo session with an external battery pack like the Quantum Turbo 3. The only thing I don't like about it, is it isn't really compatable with the BG-E6 battery grip and the cord isn't a curly cord like the one I use to connect the Turbo to my 580EX. Besides those two minor things, it's great and allows me to power the flash and camera off of the same battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my 5D Mark III w/ Turbo 3 Simple product that works just as it's supposed to. Timelapse shots just got a lot longer, and more remote!
