Redrock Micro 2-069-0001 reviews

2-069-0001 Nano Focus+Zoom Lever is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised. When I first saw this item on the B&H web site, my first thought was that it was obscenely pricey for such a simple item. My first impulse after viewing this item was to take a piece of plastic and make one myself. Now that I have sprung for two of these, I must admit they dovetail beautifully with the Redrock Micro gear rings. I was surprised at how much more smoothly I can focus and zoom when shooting video than I could without these levers. If you don't mind spending the bucks, and don't want to take the time to do a lot of fiddling trying to make your own version of these, then I think you will be happy with how they work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nifty small follow-focus aid If you already have Redrock Micro microLensGear. This lever is a great help especially when you're using zoom lens -- two focus rings. One to zoom, one to focus. Fix it to focus ring, it help to steer away some vibration from your hand onto the lens itself. The only thing that's bugging me is the poor locking system. Need to really tightened it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great solution for the solo shooter This accessory for the microLensGear allows the solo shooter that has to pull their own focus an easy to method that also provides visual reference for the focus mark while shooting. With the increased diameter with the gear plus the offset from the center with the lever, very critical focus pulls can be done smoother, and more accurately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Performs as expected I use this with a Red Rock Micro Nano focus/zoom lever on a Nikon 35mm/f1.8 and 18-200 lenses. The printable ruler on the Red Rock Micro website allowed me to choose the correct size. Without using this with a RRM follow focus it could be considered expensive overkill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid and tight Canon 5DIII with the 24-105. Using this for zoom as I also have a follow focus ring. Feels just like the big shoulder cameras and that familiar location just makes working a lot easier.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very expensive Good quality but costs about 3 times what it's worth
