How do I set this for MAC?
Asked by: Sylvester
Any hard drive used for MAC needs to be formatted in the HFS+ (or FAT32 if your adventurous)file system. You can do it on MAC with the MAC Disk Utility. Just be aware it will wipe the drive and all data will be lost. (you can get detailed instructions with a simple internet search)

question

Will this store my raw NEF files?
Asked by: Michelle D.
Yes you can store anything, just look forward to solid state drives to keep getting bigger and dropping in price because they are much smaller, lighter, and far faster. Also less to go wrong than than normal HD with spinning platter, yet solid state stuff still can go bad, sadly I know from experience. :-(
