Can the internal foam be adjust so that it compensates for the natural slope of the shoulder?
The Alan Gordon Enterprises Camera Comfort Cushion does have a zipper that could allow you to modify the foam. But the foam part of the cushion is what your camera sits on. After several uses, the inserts mold to the operator’s shoulder making it a perfect fit. Depending on personal comfort, each Cushion comes with a variety of inserts, which fit inside a zipper pocket.

question
I was looking for shoulder protection for carrying a 5 lb. tripod with a 8.6 lb. 600mm lens and 2 lb. camera attached. This sounds like it was designed for something different than that, but does anyone know if this would work while I'm carrying that gear on my shoulder with two legs of the tripod pressing down, not quite balanced on my shoulder with about 15 lbs. of total weight?
I bought it for the exact same reason. Ive found that it works well but must be fastened and adjusted properly.
