    Tamrac 3446 reviews

3446 Rally 6 Camera Bag (Black) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job for the price The bag was just as I expected for the price. I use it overseas when I go to expos and fairs where I don't need to bring a whole lot. Just one body and a couple of lenses, my Nikon SB-400 flash, a spare battery, and a spare memory card. Perfect for those who travel fairly light so to speak. If you travel with more than that or have a camera with a battery grip, it might not be the best bag for you. You might want something a little wider since my D7100 fills up the width of the bag without a battery grip. I will say, I am please with this bag since you get what you pay for. Only thing that I can say I was disappointed with is that Tamrac has a reputation for having things made in the USA. This bag was not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bag Just used this on a three week trip to Italy and it was great. I was able to fit a full size DSLR with 24-105mm lens, 16-35mm wide angle lense and external flash. It also has a front pocket where I could carry accessories such as extra batteries, memory cards, wallet and what not. It also has two side pockets for water bottles. My only gripe is the front clasp, it was a little tricky to close at times only because you need to get the right angle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag for every day shooting! I've used this bag with my Canon 70D and 6D (a FF camera) and I'm a little bewildered by the reviews on B&H saying that this bag is perfect for m43 and APSC mirrorless. Unless you're carrying 5-6 lenses and the camera, this bag would, IMO, be HUGE for m43/mirrorless. I generally use it like this: Body plus 1 lens attached in the center, one lens on each side with the option to carry the 430 EX II flash in the front zipper pouch OR camera with lens in the middle, lens on one side, flash on the other. Lenses I've carried in this bag: 70-300L (yes, a white telephoto lens fits upright in this bag - with room for the camera attached if you really want to), 200 f/2.8L II, 135L, 100L, 24-105L, and of course smaller lenses as well (not all of these lenses at the same time). I listed all of those larger lenses out in the hopes that doing so would give people an idea of how large a lens COULD be carried. A 70-200 f/2.8 lens could definitely fit inside, but NOT attached to the camera. So again, people saying this is a good fit for mirrorless... Sure, if you want PLENTY of room around your gear, I guess. At most, I have fit 6 lenses in this bag, including one attached. Basically, there are 3 columns you can put stuff in and each column had a divider allowing for a lens to be put on the bottom. Again, a flash can easily be carried in the front pocket or hanging out of the mesh pockets on the side. As for the little pocket in the back, I put a collapsible soft box that can attach to my flash head in there and just leave it there all the time but it's definitely a big enough space for a tablet, but there's no real cushion to speak of except for your body - so be careful when exposing that side of the bag to anything which may damage a tablet. The front pouch can hold a fairly large variety of items including spare batteries, filters, sunglasses, wallet, keys, etc. It really just depends on your needs and how big you want it to balloon out. I keep mine minimal, as often as possible - often it's empty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I've been looking for I was searching for a bag to hold some of my gear for short trips. The Tamrac Rally 6 will hold a Canon 5D MkIII with the Canon 70-300mm L lens attached, Canon 24-105mm L and a Canon 430 EX II all in the main compartment. There is additional room in the front pockets for a battery charger, extra battery and another small item like a cell phone, flash cord or manual. Another bonus are the outside mesh pockets to hold bottled water. The bag is slim and compact. Build quality and padding are very good. Glad I bought it and would buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for! This bag is just the size I wanted to carry a few lenses, cards, batteries, etc. around while shooting weddings. It has plenty of space but is light and hangs discreetly at my back. The build seems to be quality (I haven't used it long), the strap is sturdy but has a nice pad, and the closure is really easy to get open quickly. The bag is large enough that I feel like I could fit everything I need in it for a weekend or travel as well without worrying about smushing a microphone or anything. Great value for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well Designed - Solid Construction Easy Access - fully customizable. My only complaint is that I tend to prefer the Lowepro divider system. The Tamrac dividers use little velcro tab connectors whereas the Lowepro use full length velcro strips (just a personal preference). Since I had some unused Lowepro dividers, I replaced the Tamrac ones. This bag is a great day or walk around bag - in this size, I just drop in the DSLR with the grip up so I can grab it, rather than lifting it out. Body + one lens (not wide enough for a gripped body).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bag My favorite part about this bag is that it doesn't necessarily look like a camera bag and fits well for around town photography. I can easily fit my Canon t2i with a 55-200mm lens attached, a 18-55mm lens, a 50mm lens, a 430EX II speed light, batteries, several misc filters, and still have room for a pair of sunglasses. Its great for me cause it fits all of my gear with a little room to spare. Build quality is great and I expect it to hold up for quite some time. The velcro attachments inside the bag provide a lot of flexibility for different gear and I haven't had a problem finding a secure fit yet. My only complaint is that the flap that covers the bag seems slightly too big, it provides extra room, but makes the bag look slightly larger. Not a big deal though and is still a great bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bag! Great bag for being low key with 5 or 6K on your shoulder! I saw someone say before that it didn't work for their 7D... I have no problem fitting my 7D in there with a tripod quick release plate and 17-55 attached. I can also fit my 70-200 2.8L with the tripod ring and release plate attached next to it. Then you still have one more pocket for another lens or flash, ect. I got a little bonus when I got it because apparently I didn't see in any description that it has another bag-length pocket on the back! Great for a folder or paperwork of a sort. I wish the pockets inside the big front pocket were more secure or mesh. They tend to get in the way. Not a deal breaker though. Overall it's a great bag, super day runner, and protects gear well. Very comfy on the shoulder and weight is distributed well.
