The Cinema Sessions: Symphonic Effects by Sonic Reality is a powerful virtual instrument and sound library with over 400 orchestral sound effects tailored for film, television, video games, radio and other genres of music and multimedia which calls for special effects. From orchestral hits to dramatic strings, swells, three dimensional whooshes and emotional build-ups, Symphonic Effects is meant to provide sounds that can be accessed quickly, layered, and performed in real time.
Symphonic Effects is designed to be used as a standalone or plug-in virtual instrument in Sonic Reality's Infinite Player which resides within Native Instrument's Kontakt sampler. Along with nearly instantaneous access to this library of large effects it also includes instant forward and reverse playback, formant, time stretching, built-in DSP effects and quick layering capabilities for creating the ultimate sound track.
DSP effects include filters, a compressor, EQ, delay, reverb and more. It is both Mac and PC compatible and available as an RTAS, VST or Audio Units plug-in for all the most popular digital audio software such as Pro Tools, Cubase, and Logic Studio.
Also included are the Amp and LFO modules. The Amp page offers control over the amplitude of sound ranging from the most basic volume and pan functions to velocity, attack, delay and more. The LFO module contributes fun, experimental LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) modulators with adjustable amplitude, panning, pitch and filter parameters. Adding to the list of DSP effects is a high quality convolution reverb which allows you to drag and drop an impulse response from a scene or field recording and match the ambience between the effect and the sound in the scene.
