The Vaddio WallVIEW CCU HD-18SDI (White) consists of a high-definition camera and quick-connect CCU, and is capable of HD-SDI or SDI video outputs. The camera, with a 1/3" CCD image sensor (1.3 MP), provides high-quality images. With a 1.8 lux rating and the video signal-to-noise ratio output of greater than 50dB, the unit delivers crisp and clear video even in lowlight conditions. The multi-element wide dynamic zoom lens (18x) captures a wide angle view of up to 55.2°.
Auto white balance takes a standard white color reference to adjust the RGB (red, green, and blue) colors to produce good quality images in different light conditions and automatic iris control adjusts the amount of light passing through the lens. In addition, the PTZ camera can pan up to ±170° and has a tilt range of -30 to +90°.
Allowing you to manually adjust color, gain, pedestal, gamma, chroma, knee, and iris functions each with the turn of a knob, the quick-connect CCU displays the parameter being adjusted on a backlit (blue) LCD. Additionally, it features blue LED tally indicators that give a visual indication of the live camera, which is useful in multiple camera environments.
The quick-connect CCU allows use of a standard Cat5 cable to run both HD and SD video, camera power, black burst sync, and camera control. While providing high bandwidth for data transfer with minimal loss to the video signal, the CCU ensures high definition video transfer up to a length of 500' (over 2 CAT5e cables). It transmits 3 GB/s HD-SDI digital video resolutions up to 1080p over a single coaxial cable using the SDI Slot Card. The quick-connect CCU offers a user-controlled Y-Gain potentiometer for adjusting luminance gain over the entire cable distance and a 4-position skew switch to compensate signal loss. CCU uses a 36V/2.78A power supply on a 5.5mm OD x 2.5mm ID connector.
