Logitech MK520 overview

  • 1Description

The Logitech MK520 Wireless Combo includes a wireless keyboard and laser mouse. It includes a USB receiver that connects wirelessly and plugs into an available USB port on your Windows-based PC.

This setup offers adjustable tilting legs that give you 8 degrees of keyboard tilt so you can customize your ergonomic needs and optimize comfort while typing. The mouse features contoured sides and soft rubber grips that allow for comfortable hand positioning. Media hot keys on the keyboard let you mute your computer or skip songs at the touch of a button. The full-size keyboard gives you room to type comfortably and the keyboard easily stores standing up to free up space on your desk or workspace. Additionally, the pre-installed batteries offer long-lasting service. The MK520 Wireless Combo offers a convenient keyboard and mouse solution with wireless connectivity for additional flexibility.

Advanced 2.4 GHz Wireless
A 2.4 GHz wireless connection means you can work or play in more places. The long-range connection virtually eliminates delays, dropouts, and interference.
Unifying Receiver
The tiny USB wireless receiver stays in your laptop, so there's no need to unplug it when you move around and connects both the keyboard and mouse.
Media Hot Keys
One-touch media controls on your keyboard let you mute your computer or skip to the next song instantly without using your mouse.
Adjustable Tilting Legs
You can extend the folding legs to increase the keyboard tilt to 8 degrees to customize the setup to accommodate your personal ergonomic needs.
Laser Tracking Mouse
Contoured sides and soft rubber grips keep your hand comfortable, supported, and in control. You'll enjoy smooth, precise tracking on virtually any surface with this laser mouse.
Comfortable, Quiet Typing
Whisper-quiet, concave keys allow for a natural finger position, and their softly rounded edges invite your fingertips to glide from key to key for comfortable and quiet typing.
Long-Term Battery Life
A battery life of up to three (3) years for the keyboard and one (1) year for the mouse practically eliminates the need to replace batteries.

    Logitech MK520 reviews

MK520 Wireless Combo is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 61.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Keyboard and mouse Yeah! No more dongle, just a little device to plug into the USB port. Of course Logitech gives you a dongle that you can use if you need it. The keyboard is nicely styled, it stands on its side to get out of your way, and it has an on/off switch that must save on battery useage. Each keyboard & mouse seem to be hard coded to the USB device so if you have many, you should mark them as a set. This keyboard is everything I would expect from Logitech. The mouse also has an on/off switch, it is light, configurable, and can be used by left handed and right handed users. I liked the first two I ordered, so I ordered 10 more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works fine with Mac! Just a few keys don't work with a Mac such as the shortcut to calculator, but maybe that can be arranged. The only difference that I think could bother certain customers is that what is supposed to be the apple key on a Mac is on the left side of the Alt key. Other than that I think it's great. The touch is good, keys are quite silent, design is slick and I find the incline very helpful. The mouse is incredibly responsive for a laser and both keyboard and mouse have a switch button. The best feature I think is the size of the USB receiver, it does not stick out more than 1/5 inch!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great combo Setup is a breeze with the wireless dongle on Windows 7. Keyboard has a nice key stroke though not as light and quiet as the Apple one. Layout is standard full size and the palm rest is a nice touch. Mouse is the best I have used beyond the Apple magic mouse. It is light with a single AA battery and a comfortable grip all around. The scroll wheel has a slight indent and click. Wish it is completely silent with glide motion. Both keyboard and mouse are accurate without funny characters popping up like some other brands.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good deal! Generally it is a nice combo. I want to have wireless keyboard and mouse to make my working station more compact. This set does satisfy my need. Since the keyboard can stand by itself, it would not occupy a lot of space which I need in studying. The only problem is that it may not be suitable for gamers. I tried to play online tennis games with it and found that its response was a little bit slow so that I could not hit the ball at the correct timing. I have never faced this question when using my original keyboard and mouse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wireless KB and Mouse I needed more USB ports on my laptop for periferal devices. The MK520 system allows you to network several devices with the Logitek Unifying Receiver which only uses one USB port. I have the Keyboard, Mouse, and External Drive all networked using only one USB port.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product does not work At least half of the time it just won't type into the computer what you have typed. You can't even delete something. It will have to go back. If it would consistently work, it would be a great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wireless Combo After a mess up with the mailing process I finally got my keyboard. First seems the keys somehow have shifted left compared to about 1/2 to right which my other Logitech had. Also I have to strike the keys heavier but that could be that it is a new keyboard and the keys are stiff. I am about a 70 wpm typist and this has slowed me down to about 60. All in all even with the shipping mess up (P.O Box compared to street address), I will always order from B&H and Logitech makes a really good keyboard..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from came broken Key board is nice I like that, but mouse has a lose part which can be heard rattling around in there and it don't work.
