Very good black color, consistent. The letters do not smear on the paper, it is very even tone on the large surface of halftone. I am in the graphic design field and love the genuine brother quality. I recommend everyone to stay with genuine brother. The original toner cartridge that come with Brother laser machine has short life, but these replacement cartridge lasts on and on and on with good quality printing...many 500 reams of paper so far. I am very happy. I will buy it again !

I bought my brother printer 4 years ago. I use it for my small business and it gets a LOT of use. I have only had to replace the drum once.
