The Smart-AVI High Definition HDTV CAT5 Matrix Switch (32 x 16) with 1U rack-mounted chassis offers easy access to multiple servers in various locations and routes high-quality audio signals and high resolution video up to 1920 x 1200 with 32 inputs and 16 outputs. Infrared, RS-232, PC software, and TCP/IP protocols allow for full control of the matrix and all connected displays and devices.

Routing takes place over standard CAT-5/5e/6/7/8 cables, up to a distance of 1500' (500m) between the local and remote units using an integral UTP distribution system. The High Definition HDTV CAT5 Matrix Switch supports HDTV (720p, 1080i, and 1080p), VGA, XGA, Sun, MAC, and SGI video formats and is compatible with line level stereo audio signals.

Offering high ground loop immunity, the High Definition HDTV CAT5 Matrix Switch features a built-in power surge and transient protection circuits which safeguards the switcher. It also features a designated trimmer in the remote unit to compensate for length.
