    Sigma EF-610 DG ST reviews

EF-610 DG ST Flash for Nikon Cameras is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Returned due to poor performance Save yourself some time and just move on. I purchased 2 while they were on sale and I guess you get what you pay for. Manual is very confusing. Performance is horrible. Tried them as off camera flash for a shoot- could not get them to work with CLS- switched to manual power- Flash output inconsistent from shot to shot. Mis fired constantly. Sent them back today...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Returned Planned to use it off-camera but manual settings allow only full power or 1/16 power. Disappointed of not being able to have full manual control. Product description unclear. Even the vendor was unsure until we unpacked one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Flash with Power Zoom! The Sigma EG610 DG ST for Nikon has the quality and construction of a flash 3 times its price. I had a Vivitar DF-286 bounce flash and the casing was made of cheap thin-sounding plastic. But the Sigma is rock solid, and has a feeling of rubber-like coated casing. The Vivitar had LED lights that could be pushed in, but the Sigma's LED indicators are all recessed and encased inside. I've owned Nikon flashes before but I couldn't afford a Nikon flash right now but now that I got the Sigma, that's fine because this EF610 is just as good, if not better, than Nikon's flashes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Flash, Weak Construction The flash is very strong for its price point. It works well with my Nikon D5200. The only weak point is the construction of the battery door. It is rather flimsy and should have been designed sturdier. Be careful when loading batteries and closing the door. Other than that, I have been very pleased with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good power but low power settings 3.5 stars from me. the flash it's powerful enougt but only 3 power settings: Full , Low and Hight. Great TTL options but i still belive in manual settings

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Limited output power range Its a good flash but the output power range in manual is either full flash or 1/16. Wish it had more options but you can't ask much more for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice thing Flash for general use. A little bit too big.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from top quality During all my photographic life, I always preferred to use accessories of the same brand as the camera. I had (and still have a Canon EOS 7D), many different Canon cameras, and always had Canon Flash. This time, I decided to buy a different brand for two reasons: - much better price than a Nikon flash, and - Sigma has a reputation for good products. The only not so great about it, is that it is bulkier than the Nikon os Canon Flash.
