    Nikon MH-25 reviews

MH-25 Quick Charger is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 87.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor design criples otherwise good charg I received this with a D800, which is replacing a D700. The D700 charger is more compact and has a simple Figure 8 socket that means standard Fig 8 plugs (like you get with your iPad charger) can be used to plug it straight into the wall wherever you go in the world. No need for a long cable. This one has a silly swivelling socket that is too deep to accept the standard Fig 8 plugs and comes only with a US plug as standard. It would have been simple to have it work like the old one - now I need to carry a bulky extension cable and plug adaptors to travel with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's from Nikon, of course it's good So, the Nikon charger I got with my new D750 was bad out of the box. It charged batteries, but no indication light. Very un-nikon like. I run a battery grip on all my cameras so having two chargers is standard for me. I have tried aftermarket chargers and have never been satisfied with the quality. I think everyone has failed before I thought it should. I also question whether the non-brand chargers are really good for my batteries. I believe there are very good multi battery chargers on the market, but they are very expensive and more for pro's that go thru batteries much faster than I do. Just spend the few extra bucks and get the Nikon, it's worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It Works Just replacing one that got stolen. It works. The new one has an optional plug attachment so you can dispense with the cord if you want to save weight for traveling. Little section where the cord enters the charge pivots 90deg if you release the catch so the prongs will point straight out the back. Use it for the EN-EL15 on my D7000. Only con is that it is a bit bulky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MORE POWER This is my second charge unit for my business camera. I need to charge 2-4 camera batteries during my shoots. Fully charged batteries work best. At end of the day my charger goes to work. Easy to use, have had no problems what so ever charging. Lightweight, takes up little room in the camera bag. Battery slides in and out when charging is completed. Battery is in charger horizontally, and will not fall out. Charger plugs into wall and holds fast . Nice dull surface finish and comes with complete instructions. It's always good to have two of every thing you use. Time is money! Quick chargers are the way to go...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from replacement for one that broke The charger that came with my camera (d7000), the same one as this, stopped working about two years into owning it. It had worked perfectly until that moment, so while it was disappointing, I chalked it up to a fluke. I looked for an off-brand charger to replace this in order to save some money, but in the end I figured this one worked perfectly for long enough and my previous nikon chargers (from other cameras) all continue to work, so I decided to cough up the money and get another nikon charger. Took a star off for the fact that my previous charger died with no explanation (after a long period of time) and that a replacement is so expensive. Other than that, it's great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it does What is there to say it does what it does. This is my second one I now have two. MY D800 came with one and at the rate it can burn a battery I bought another so as to charge 2 batteries at once. I really like the wall plug adapter for this so I do not have to use the cord that is cool it makes it compact and easy to carry them unlike the D3 charger was. As soon as I can find a short plug adapter for the Fuji X-E1 chargers I will convert them and leave the cords at home. The only down side is the short wall plug adapter does not lock in the charger so it wants to sepertate when you unplug the charger.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from MH-25 Charger for D7000 EN-EL15 Battery The Nikon MH-25 Charger for D7000 EN-EL15 Battery has the new plug option that is improved over prior chargers. It comes with the standard two prong cord plug plus a short two prong plug without the cord.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Charger for Spare or Replacement I bought this charger for a second charger with my D800e. It is good practice to have a back up charger when traveling. At this price, it is silly not too. Its also nice to know you can charge 2 at one time should you need to. Charges a dead battery to full in just under 2 hours, not a bad time for stock charger. I am in no rush to charge as I don't use the camera for work or in a quick workflow. 4 stars because the battery doesn't hold too snug in the charger port. It wiggles and can slip out if hit or bumped. The plastic used doesn't feel too strong compared to Canon chargers, but Nikon adds to the extension cable and the pivoting prongs with lock are an added bonus. At the end of it all, its an stock charger and works great.
