Protect your professional camera from inclement weather with the camRade wetSuit. Specifically designed for the Canon XF300/305, the wetSuit protects your camera without inhibiting access to the controls or LCD monitor. The wetSuit is made of near-silent fabric that helps keep unwanted wind and rain noise at bay, and has openings that reduce the chance of the camera overheating by allowing hot air to escape. The wetSuit uses zippers and elastic fasteners to enclose and protect your camera in a weatherproof wrap while critical components, such as the lens opening, viewfinder, and microphone, are left unimpeded. This design provides your camera with the necessary cover while keeping image and sound quality mostly unaffected. Once the weather clears up, the entire wetSuit can be folded down and packed into the included waterproof zippered pouch.

wetSuit for Canon XF300/305 is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use Weather Protection The Wetsuit is versatile and provides excellent access to the camera in difficult weather conditions. You can still attach to tripod and it has great access to the LCD monitor. You will want to take some time to get to learn how all the velcro works and how to best fit it to your needs. The front of the camera is still exposed somewhat so you will want to work on that area when installing. We removed our mic holder (not using) and tucked the flap behind the lcd. That seems to work good for us.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good cover but room for improvement. This is a good rain cover but there are a few areas that could be improved. The area over the built in mic on the XF300 has no specific flap to cover it. The elasticized cuff at the top of the camera and the one for the shotgun mic need closable flaps when not in use. I live in a coastal rain forest where it can go from drizzle to downpour in seconds and those features would help.Love the built in clear plastic pocket for the lcd viewscreen . Can be a bit hard to put on due to all the lumps and bulges on the camera but is do-able with patience.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from What a pain. Headline refers to putting it on. For me, it seem the bag was too short from one end to the other to pull over the xf300. If the zipper design allowed to completely open on the bottom, it would have been no problem. There are zipper handles on each side that doesn't allow this. Others seemed to get it on so maybe I'm not doing it right. Anyhow, out of frustration, I just cut one end of the zipper to open the cover completely, then just slipped it on. It made it alot easier to slip over the camera. The velcro seems to enclose the camera pretty well, but I'm yet to take the camera outside and test it so I'll see later. I can't see taking this off and on continously without doing my cut on the zipper. Hopefully you can figure it out without doing that. Well, now to go out and use it. It seems well protected.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOPE. Have used it twice and had the camera damaged enough for repair. It says wetsuit, it should be WATER MAGNET. Moisture heads straight for the internal electronics.
