From Manhattan LCD comes the Panasonic Battery Plate for HD071A, HD089B/C & HD8900/10/20 Monitors. This presents a convenient a way to use your existing Lithium-ion batteries to power one of the aforementioned LCD field monitors from Manhattan LCD.

The plate has a built-in voltage regulator that steps up the voltage from your 7.4V battery to run the monitor at 12V. A low-battery indicator tells you when it's time to change out the Li-ion battery.

This plate is compatible with Panasonic CGP batteries (HPX170, DVX100, HVX200, etc.). The manufacturer recommends using at minimum 5500 mAh batteries with this plate: 5500 mAh will last 3 hours, and 7200 mAh units will last 4 hours.

Panasonic Battery Plate for HD071A, HD089B/C & HD8900/10/20 Monitors is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as intended I use the Manhattan 8.9 HD monitor with my AF100. I needed a way to be more mobile with my gear and this does the trick. I would give it 5 stars except I don't like the way the batteries attach to the plate? It's not a clear click into position as expected. It's nessecary to shove the battery into position until it stops. I'd much rather it gently clicks into position. However, once I got used to this minor flaw I used the plate for two weeks of straigh shooting with no problems. The led charge indicator is a nice extra as my batteries do not give a charge status.
