    Benro BH2 reviews

BH2 Ballhead with Quick Release is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Little Wobbly on a 1/4 This ball head supports the 9 pounds of weight for my largest unit fine but I had to use a 3/8 to 1/4 inch bushing for my tripod and I find the unit is a bit wobbly for my liking. The quick release latches are not as smooth as I would like but the ball head adjustment and lock is good. The single bubble level is useful but not very accurate. I find myself using it in conjunction with the camera level for the best results. The panning would be good if I didn't have the wobbling issue already described. I would recommend this unit with tripods with 3/8 bolts only to avoid the wobble issue. Otherwise, this is a nice unit for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Ball Head This head is large enough to take the torque of anything I have. I bought it because I have an Induro pan/tilt head that has limited tilt and it is too large to have on the tripod when I try to zip up the tripod bag. I was told that this head has the same quick change plate as my PTH2 head but that isn't so. I didn't find a ball head that does have the same plate so I am keeping this one. It operates smoothly and tightens down easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I've been looking for I've been looking for a ball head with holding power and this one fits the bill. Previous models I've tried allowed my lenses to droop downward. Reasonably priced. It is a little bit on the heavy side but it is a small price to pay for security.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Ball Head For the price, I rate this 5 stars. Very solid, the torsion lever is able to be adjusted out and still leave varying levels of friction on the ball, i.e. it's not an all or nothing. The quick release for the camera mount seems very secure. There are probably better heads out there, but none I've found at this price point. Especially none rated for the weight this head will carry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from strong and flexible I've been looking for a ball head with strong holding power, and this one fits the bill. Its reasonably priced too. Its a bit heavier than most similar priced units but none I've found can hold the weight like this one, so it's a small trade off

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just Ok Not that thrilled with this head, but it could be because I am so used to a professional ball head. I was hoping that I could use it for panoramas, but it just does not function well for this use. It was a disappointing purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong Replacment Head Needed a new head after my manfrotto joystick became too soft to hold the camera. Chose this one for its simplicity and weight rating. Works great.
