Benro B2 Reviews
Love It
Nice ball head, seems sturdy and very smooth to operate. liked it so well I purchased a second one for another tripod.
Great Ball Head!
Works great!
Awesome product
I love it! Used it to take some photos on Lake Michigan. It was so sturdy I had no trouble leaving my camera attached to get my jacket out of the car on a windy day. Awesome controls, easy to use and very sturdy. I doubt I will need another one of these, but sticking with this brand. Extremely easy to use.
Beautiful Ballhead
This Benro B2 ballhead is beautifully machined and painted. The controls operate with precision and smoothness. Particularly well designed is the safety mechanism which prevents the camera from slipping from the head when removing it. I purchased it for use with a 35mm size DSLR, but I have little doubt it would suffice for medium format, even given its relatively small size. Highly recommended.
Great tripod head
Very much like the ball head very smooth. Also like the safety stop on the top plate.
My second B2
This is my second B2 ball head. This one and the other one on another tripod work exceedingly well.
Great budget option
Nice head for the money. I did a landscape shoot with a heavyish lens on an MFT body on a cheapie tripod and found just pressing the shutter made the setup vibrate for most of the short shots. Not cool. Paired this with the Benro TAD28A Series 2 Adventure Aluminum Tripod and now everything's stable. I like that sweet spot where you get the most bang for your buck and this seems to fall in that zone. Spend more if you want or get this and put most stability concerns out of your mind.
Great ball head
I've had this ball head for a few years now (don't think there's any point reviewing this only after a week or so). Over this time It's been able to handle everything I throw at it. All mechanisms still work exceptionally well, the motion is still smooth and it can comfortably hold all the gear I mount on it without deviating from any position (I use a Sony a7 range camera, biggest lens I have is 70-200mm) Goes to show you don't need to pay hundreds of $$ for a decent ball head. This one has done it for me every time. Can't fault it.
