question

Will this work on a Sony A6000?
Asked by: Virendra B.
The Sony A6000 hot shoe, Virendra B, sometimes has an electronic grounding issue with Third-Party Flash Equipment. Please discuss this with Sony to see if there is a fix, or an adapter to use. In addition, the Photoflex StarFire hot shoe is standard size, and fits on all standard sized hot shoes for cameras of all brands.

question

Hi ! I am looking forward to buy it since I need a slave flash (for off camera use). I wish to use with a point and shoot digital camera, I want to know that the flash once set on S2 mode,it would ignore pre flash from my P&S and fire when camera fires second flash to expose /take picture. Can someone help?
Asked by: Anonymous
HI, My name is Rafael Rojas i own two of them and they are very powerful flashes. I did the test you said with both of them. They fire at 10 ft away from the subject , I did use them on S2 mode and both fired together with the little flash attached to the camera set in Program Mode or Aperture mode etc, so 3 flashes for the subject. and no other radios needed just the flashes by themselves and the little one that camera has. But I do not recommend doing this because its the camera choice to expose your subject not yours I always use the manual mode and adjust at my own needs. So use a light meter and use them in manual mode.
