This is my 3rd HPRC 2600w case in 12 years, and I'll never buy anything else. I could still use my original one, which is still in amazing shape. Support Italian!

Perfect bulletproof travel case

Good Solid Case

I purchased this case to carry our Vapor Intrusion Sampling equipment. I needed a case I could roll through airports with ease and strong enough to stand up to baggage handlers. I was able fit a 1/2 inch hammer drill, 50 ft extension cord, vacuum pump, Photoionization detector, and all our sample port equipment in the case with room to spare. I was really impressed with the sturdiness of the case and smoothness of the wheels. A better case than I expected for the price. I wish I knew a way to prevent the tearout foam from seperating with use.

Great brand, didn't like the dividers

I do love these cases, but was not a fan of their divider set up so I returned this and got an empty case and outfitted it with the Trekpak divider system instead. The cost is exactly the same and Trekpak makes one hell of a divider system. Reasons I did not like the dividers, lack of ability to customize later down the road, the walls had weird gaps, the work to actually set the whole thing up was a lot.

It's like the Ferrari's of resin cases

I purchased the HPRC 2600W back in the 2009ish (if my memory is not wrong) but I've been using this case for over a decade, and let me tell you it's worth every cent. It has traveled with me around the world, fits the top bin of almost aircraft and it has been out in the rain, stepped on and those wheels, who knows how many miles they have... I've read some a bad review of this case, about a camera not fitting in it, well you should read the size specs if you intend to fit a specific camera in it... so here are my PROs and CONs PROs:'s made to last! Plastic is really thick and solid around the edges and corners. 2.Very well made and durable weather liner. 3. Airlock release valve actually works, perfect for frequent flyers. TSA friendly and Airliner Friendly, fits most aircraft upper luggage bins. 4. The wheels are superb and durable (massive hinges) and surprisingly quiet. 5. Locking hinges are less prone to pinch your finger vs Pelican ones. 6. Body scratches are less noticeable than Pelican, plastic ages better than Pelican. 7. The handle mechanism is metal and serviceable (After a dusty work, I removed the screws, removed the handle, cleaned and lubed easily) 8. It's quite refined, nice Italian style details. CONs: 1: If you live in hot or humid areas, do not buy the inner foam. It will turn to dust in 2-3 years. Go for the Second Skins Dividers and the Lid Organizer. 2. Is a little heavier than Pelican counterpart. 3. Accessories are not popular as Pelican, nor easy to find in stores.

design flaws that are deal-breakers

I have other HPRC cases that I'm happy with but this one for the Sony Z280 has major issues. The deal breaker for me is that the camera is too tall for the case and you cannot leave your tripod plate attached. You also have to remove the eyecup and there is also no spot for the power supply/battery charger. I really wanted to like this case but it is going back.

Awesome Case with minor issues

I had been searching for a few weeks to find a case of this style, and after trying several cases from Nanuk and looking heavily into the Pelican 1560s, I finally decided on this one. The main selling point for me was the dividers. The nanuk dividers did not work very well for Sony cameras, as the layout was too constricting. With this case, I have much more flexibility to put all of my gear in. The case feels well built.  My biggest complaint is the latches are terrible. They just kind of slam open and closed. Nanuks power claw latches are so much better and smoother to operate. Nanuk also feels like the pull up handle is better made. Overall, Im very happy with my purchase and will be buying more HPRC cases when I need a large case with dividers.

bought it with the trekpak system for the 2600W, im pretty satisfied with the case and this is my 2nd buy of the HRPC 2600. this protects my video gears on a fair priced and very good quality hard case....

I would not recommend putting a laptop in the pocket, as there is no padding/protection.

how many lenses can this hold ? what size lenses ? camera bodies how many ?

This case has interior dimensions of 19.1 x 14.2 x 8.6 inches. You would need to measure out the dimensions of your gear to see how much of it will fit.

Is this case allowed as carry on luggage?

The HPRC 2600 is too large for carry on. Check out the Pelican 1510 for a carry on approved hard case:

would be secure enough as a check in bag?

would be secure enough as a check in bag?

Yes it is strong enough for checked luggage. Much stronger than most luggage you might use for clothing.

I want to see how it is divided inside this beautiful hard case? ;-) thank you!
Asked by: Virgiliu N.
It is not pre-subdivided. The foam rubber is sectional and you can easily remove the portions that allow you to make room for your equipment.
