The only bad thing about this product is if you don't use Duracell batteries the batteries don't last long. The product is easy to use, worked very well in my church, that is where I got ti to use. It was easy to use and hook up to the mixer.

question

is there a mic / line output for the audio? Audio is too hot out of XLR output
Asked by: Anonymous
The UHF-4 receiver provides both a fixed mic levelBALANCED MIC AUDIO OUTPUTXLR (7) and an adjustable line level AUX AUDIO OUTPUT 1/4 jack (10).(Note: As when making any connection, make sure the amplifier or mixing boardvolume is at the minimum level before plugging in the receiver to avoid possiblesound system damage.)

Is there a mobile rechargeable power supply for ...

Is there a mobile rechargeable power supply for the receiver? It would be sitting in a field or mounted on a mobile tripod or stand.
Asked by: Donald
This Nady wireless system is meant to be used for presentations where there is AC wall power available for the reciever. I would recommend looking at our ENG wireless systems, where both the transmitter and the receiver operate on batteries. The Saramonic Wireless 4-Channel VHF Lavalier Omnidirectional Microphone System B&H # SASRWM4C would be a good, similarly priced option.

question

IS THE XLR OUTPUT MALE, OR FEMALE?
Asked by: Anonymous
My recollection is that the fitting on the back of the receiver is a full size XLR Male. That means you need a cable that is XLR female on one end to go to the wireless receiver and male on the other end to go to the mixer board. Most microphones are connected with a mike cable having XLR Female on the mike end and XLR Female on the mixer or amplifier board. Another option on this unit is to use a 1/4 Male fitting on one end of a cable and same on the other. In some cases that can work out better.
