Which way do you put the 9 volt battery in the compartment?
Asked by: Logan
Nope, the battery fits in either way and there's no, I repeat, no +/- ID anywhere on the unit or shown in the manual. I will add that either way the battery goes in, it's very difficult to get the battery out--the sliding door just refuses to get out of the way. I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but I'm no dummy and this battery thing is ridiculous.

I just got my new 351 VR and there's no symbols +/- on or around the battery compartment to make sure the 9 volt battery is inserted correctly. I placed the battery in the compartment based upon the relative size of the two contacts but the red LED didn't come on briefly when unit turned on like the instructions say, but it did light briefly right before I turned the unit off. Weird. After fiddling a bit, I took the battery out and the battery was very hot. Not doing anything more until I can get some kind of resolution. Nady's HQ totally shut down due to pandemic, not even a person answering the phone.?
