Expensive but will meet my needs

I've had it only for two days but first thing I notice it that the plugin for the power adapter at the back of the unit gets in the way, they should have an L angle plug that it's lower profile. Second thing I noticed is that it had no way to hang it so it's not mountable. The batteries are a bit difficult to figure out how to plugin and you have to push down a cheap plastic tab to release it. I'm sure the more I use it the less difficult it will be, just getting used to how it works. I did top off a couple of batteries LP6e-nh which it seemed to work. I prefer to have a plugin battery charger, where you insert the batteries from the top which takes up way less space with no guesswork on how to plug them in. I have a manfrotto two battery charger that works this way, but they don't make a four-battery system that I'm aware of to charge them all at once. Overall, I spite of its quirks I think it will meet my needs of being able to have two readies for the camera and two fully charged spares in the morning.

This charger is well built with a metal frame and charge lights. I go through a lot of batteries during each shoot and this charger helps keep the batteries fresh and charged. The only downside to this charger is the price.

Hot Rod Four Banger

I recently purchased a smallHD 5 monitor for my FS-100 camera rig. It is powered by two Canon LP-E6 batteries and the kit came with a single battery charger. On my first shoot the batteries drained much quicker than anticipated, and with a 2.5 hour full recharge time I knew I couldn't handle long remote shoots without purchasing four additional batteries and a charger that could pump out fully charged batteries all at the same time. So it was a no brainer to get the Dolgin TC-40 four battery charging station. It's great! But I already knew that because I own two other Dolgin chargers for my SONY L series batteries. Yes, I know it's pricey, but this is a classic example of you getting what you pay for. Yes, I cried once writing the check to pay for it, but now it's pure joy every time I need to crank out fresh batteries as quickly as possible. Heads up this charger takes up a little bit of real estate, so if packing a bag for traveling light is high on your priority list, take its size into consideration. But if you believe time is money, then this charger can be a lifesaver if you go through a number of Canon batteries, especially on long remote shoots.

So far it's great. It isn't small, not that I expected it to be, but for home use it's fantastic. I haven't had any issues. It may be the only option, but it's a good one.

good, but could use more features for the money

Pricy option for a 4 charger. Also, its large...about the size of a large surge protector (see pic). That's not as much an issue but for the money I was hoping it would have a few more features. The Canon chargers have a 3 blink to give you an idea of how much longer to full charge. This one, it's either charging (Red), or charged (Green). Other than that, it does what I need, charging 4 batteries at a time. Contacts work well. My biggest concern is how well it would work with OEM batteries. So far so good. I haven't done comparable testing but seems to charge as fast or faster than the OEM charger.
