This Blue Yeti USB Microphone Kit from B&H provides you with all of the essential equipment to record, edit, and monitor audio projects at home with your computer. It includes the Blue Yeti USB microphone, a pair of Closed-Back headphones, and Cakewalk Sonar Artist music production software.
The mic features a heavy metal construction with a custom-designed desk stand and an angle-adjustable head. Inside, you'll find a triple array of Blue's premium condenser capsules, which provide 4 different selectable pickup patterns; Stereo, Cardioid Mono, Omnidirectional, and Figure-8. The mic features a USB connection for plug-and-play compatibility with Macs and PCs, with no need for extra drivers. It offers an adjustable mic gain control and mute button, as well as a high-quality headphone amplifier with a volume control for direct monitoring.
The included headphones can plug directly into the microphone, or into your computer's headphone jack. They feature a closed-back around-ear design to block out environmental noise. The 40mm drivers provide high-quality sound, while the thick ear cushions and padded headband provide lasting comfort. The SONAR Artist software is compatible with Windows systems, and provides a variety of tools and features for recording and editing, including virtual instruments, MIDI compatibility, a sequencer, and effects.
Note: While the Yeti mic will work with Mac and Windows computers, the included Sonar X3 software works with Windows only.
