    72" Tripod w/3-Way Pan/Tilt Head (Black) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 77.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Plastic connectors snap off in cold If you plan to baby this tripod, it could work for you. I like to use a tripod in all types of weather and this didn't stand up to use. The first time I took it out in cold weather, the plastic connections that hold on the legs snapped off, leaving the legs unable to support the camera. The pins that connect the supports at the legs also snapped. What I did like were the level indicators and the ability to easily put in the camera and take it out. Too bad it didn't work out as far as real use. Would not recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Satisfied With My New Tripod I was really looking for a long one when I saw this one on sale and after looking over the specs, I decided to purchase it. I received it intact and in perfect condition from B&H. It's inexpensive, lightweight, stable, sturdy, unfolds quickly, and when I'm finished doing my work, it can be folded away quickly. This is an excellent product. I'm highly satisfied with my purchased. Thank you very much B&H and thank you for the extra Quick Release Plate. I love my new tripod.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from REALLY GOOD AND STRONG I recently got this tripod and it is really good than what i expected it to be...it is really strong and looks good too. the lever like thing raises the camera up to 12 inches and it is very useful to raise and lower without disturbing the entire setup.water levels, adjustable bushes at bottom to stabilize it. it got a little handle to carry it while being used.the only thing about it is it's a bit heavy than a normal mid size tripod.but a good one for the price

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Recommended This tripod is a study in good and bad. Good price but flimsy. Two quick-release plates, but they only work well with a video recorder (still cameras tends to swivel around the mounting screw because the plates aren't faced with rubber or cork). 72 tall but likely to collapse if you brush against it. I gave this tripod to a friend who only wanted a tripod so she could appear in the group photos she takes. I kept the case to use with my new Slik Pro 400DX (which I also bought from B&H, of course).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from easy to use but really flimsy This is super easy to set up and use, if you have a 2 Lb or less. it says its rated for 20Lbs. maybe thats the weight it will collapse under. with a 5 Lb scope it acts so flimsy i'm better off holding it by hand. every thing including the head is cheap plastic to boot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Built with fragile materials Great product, lousy for use on trips. Presents little resistance as it has many plastic parts. The head lever broke on first use. Should be used only with very light equipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like it I haven't actually used it yet but I am very satisfied with the quality and features for the price point. Be aware that it comes with 2 quick disconnect mount plates but it must use them. The lower part of the quick disconnect is actually part of the panhead and is not easily removable if you prefer not to use a quick disconnect. Since I plan to attach my camera to this tripod and a tracking telescope mount this is a small inconvenience in that I must remove the disconnect plate from the camera in order to mount the camera to the telescope. Maybe I can find a compatible disconnect mount for the telescope. Again, great product for the price point. I'm sure one could pay more for less.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Tripod. I use this tripod mostly for for family events and for sports, and so far, it has suited me great, and hasn't disappointed me once. I is very lightweight, strong and stable. It's the cheapest tripod for it's height (although it's still a bit too low for me, I'm 6.7.....) Very easy to extend the legs, awesome quick-release (2 of them included with the tripod), and very sleek design. It has a carrying handle positioned exactly in the middle so the weight is even between both sides, and that makes it very comfortable to carry around. The carrying case that it comes with is also great. My camera that I usually use with it weights about 900 gr. with large lens, and I have had absolutely no problems using is with this camera (d70 with telephoto lens). But large video cameras that a weigh a few kilos are a bit too much, they are too big and then the tripod gets unstable. I don't even think that it is meant to be used with such cameras....... However, it's kinda big (when folded), but I guess thats how it is when it's a relatively tall tripod. Also, a few of the locking knobs on the top are a little hard to turn (the one that locks the upper extension rod and the one that controls the vertical angle of the camera). All in all, it's a great tripod if camera isn't heavy, and it's definitely worth the price, even if it would cost $50 more. If you want a tripod for video, search elsewhere. But if you're in to photography, go and buy it, and don't waste your time looking at all the others.
