The Studio Series 52/58mm 4.5x HD Super Telephoto Lens makes a great cost-effective addition to any video or still camera kit. The precisely engineered, multi-coated glass magnifies the field of view of your base lens by an astounding 4.5x, turning a 50mm normal lens into a 225mm telephoto! Whether you're shooting with a fixed camcorder lens or a DSLR's interchangeable prime, this screw-on attachment lets you shoot from far away or more easily isolate your subject in the frame. As long as the filter thread of your base lens measures 52mm or 58mm, this solid, lightweight performer will bring the action up close and personal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won't work on a Canon GL2 Vinetting so pronounced that it encludes 1/3 of the field of view when mounted on a a Canon GL2. It did mount perfectly on the 58mm filter threads on the front but after that ... it was down hill. This unit sticks out from the front element about 3 inches.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What a wate of money I bought this for my Nikon P7000 just for fun and purely for hobby purpose. This was the most expensive of the different telelenses I could get, and I figured that's always a good rule of thumb. But it was so bad. A lot of vignette and ghost... a lot of ghost. And only about 10% of the photos were in focus - the rest extremely blurred.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The best of the lot I bought this lense for my Nikon P7000 along with an adapter tube. I tried several different lenses before I chose this one - I actually bought another one first (a more expensive polaroid) which I returned - and I can honestly sat, that this is the best of the lot.You get some ghost but not at all the same amount as with the other lenses. There is no vignette.I bought this purely as a fun hobby thing, you can not think, that you can professional paparazzi photos with it. It is not the most expensive but clearly the best in my opinion. But still just for fun!
