Formatt Hitech BF 127-3-BGCYA overview

  • 1Description

The Formatt 127mm Cyan Blender #3 Filter is a graduated color filter ranging from cyan to clear. The aqua hue provides a blue-green glow to highlights and helps to subdue red casts to other regions of your image. The blender design tapers the coloring across the entire filter plane, eliminating the need to disguise the density edge within the image.

The filter is constructed from specially formulated CR-39 resin sandwiched between two layers of high-quality Schott glass. The #3 filter is the densest of the series and provides a noticeable amount of cyan coloration.

Cyan-colored filter provides a cooling effect to your images and reduces red casts.
#3 density provides a noticeable amount of cyan coloration.
Blender filter provides a gradual density transition across the entire filter, rather than in the middle.
Formatt filters combine high-quality Schott glass with specially formulated CR-39 resin in order to contain synthetic dyes while still garnering the benefits of optical glass.
