The Atlona AT-HD800 Portable HDMI Signal Generator allows you to test video resolution/timing of video signals in any digital format. The signal generator comes with 13 test patterns including 3D tests, Side by Side, Top and Bottom, and Frame Packing (a mandatory format for all HDMI 1.4 devices).
Featuring an HDMI output and HDMI pass through, the AT-HD800 generator allows switching between test patterns and content from other digital sources. In addition, the HDMI input reads EDID (extended display identification data) information to determine the display's capabilities (type of audio and video formats the display is capable of showing). This minimizes the installation problems and also assists in the EDID troubleshooting.
The AT-HD800 HDMI Signal Generator supports computer testing resolutions such as VGA, SVGA, XGA, SXGA, WUXGA, and HDTV testing resolutions such as 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 720p (50/60 Hz), 1080i (50/60 Hz), and 1080p (24/50/60). Additionally, it supports 3D HDTV testing resolutions such as 720p (50/60 Hz), and 1080p 24 Hz.
With 2-channel LPCM (linear pulse-code modulation) for audio testing, the HDMI signal generator offers encoding of audio signals digitally. In addition to a portable design, it also has a protective rubber case, and can be operated via a battery.
