Sescom LN2MIC-ZMH4-MON Reviews
Failed immediately
Used it with a Sony 7S3 and Zoom H4N Pro. One crackle and that was it, totally dead. Not worth a return as I live in the UK.
love this cord
This little guy saved me when I could not monitor my audio with headphones while running the audio through the camera. i can now plug in my H4n zoom with this cord and monitor the audio with the zoom. Great little cord.
Monitor audio from H4n to Canon T4i
Found this when I was checking out a video on monitoring audio to my DSLR. Now I have a headphone jack to listen to audio.
Line out jack too loose
The sound quality and attenuation seem fine, but the line out jack does NOT fit tightly into the recorder. It pulls out with the slightest of a pull. It's not the fault of the recorder because when I swap ends and put the angled jack into the recorder instead of the camera, it snaps in snugly. Disappointing given the price of this cable and I'm returning.
Must cable have for DSLR shooters
Ok, ladies and germs, this is a must have accessory for anyone doing video with a DSLR that doesn't have audio output, with this cable you can finally monitor your audio coming from a mic or protable digital recorder into your camera, finally! It's a must have to step upo your video/audio quality
Great Cable!
It's a great little cable that give audio monitoring and a nice padded line into my Canon 7D, from the Zoom H2 (upgrading to a Tascam DR-40). My only con, and it could just be my cable, is that the headphones go in and out, but it's not consistent.
fantastic
good product
Handy accessory for the Zoom H4N
I still have the Zoom H4N audio recorder, which has been around a lot longer than the newer H6, but has long been a popular audio tool for DSLR filmmakers. The one downside was always there is only one headphone output and no way of feeding reference audio directly to a camera. This solves that problem by allowing you to feed a mic-level signal to your camera while also simultaneously monitoring on headphones. I do with the cable was a bit longer, because I like to clamp my audio recorder to a tripod leg. Another good use scenario is if you have a sound recordist booming a mic on set, they can use this cable to monitor the signal and plug the mic output into a wireless beltpack transmitter to send a reference audio signal back to the camera.
