Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best $ I ever spent I was on a trip to NYC with a friend and wanted to download my pictures from my Nikon on the way home but hadn't brought my card reader with me. I also needed to replace my lens cap leash. Went into a NYC store and they wanted $ for the leash...walked immediately to B&H and bought 2 of these at $ each and decided to splurge for a card reader also...what a good decision. Works perfectly and is so tiny it's a pleasure to carry. I won't make the same mistake and leave this one at home!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More than Satisfied I am very happy with my product. I opened it and used it the moment it came in the mail. Fast and efficient shipping was a plus! I ordered it during the busy Christmas season, but it still arrived as soon as possible. The best part about the product was that it was less expensive than any I found at the store and I was able to purchase it from my home! The product works wonderfully with no glitches and my friends always want to use it. The only and very minor problem I noticed was that the shipment packaging was not as sturdy as I would have made it myself. The product itself did not have any flaws.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great with my tablet I have an original Nexus 7 tablet that I wanted to use to view my recently taken photos. I wanted somthing other than a laptop. I bought a mirco-USB OTG cable and downloaded the Nexus Media Importer. With this flash reader, I can now plug the SD card from the camera into the reader, connect the reader to the tablet with the OTG cable and view my pictures on the tablet. Very nice for sharing. By removing the pictures from the camera, I do not have to power the camera to view them. I take DNG RAW pictures and they appear instantly as I move from one to the other. This arrangement works very well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Call Mine Kermit My old card reader had a cable to fuss with, and card ports I never used: it had ports I couldn't even identify! It was an awkward thing to use, and took up room in my camera bag. The IOGEAR MMC card reader is refreshingly straight forward and simple. SD cards are more popular than ever. The IOGEAR is a good value. It is small, and easily transportable. I have used it to ingest both photos and video without any issues. The funny thing is, I have grabbed it a few times thinking it was my thumb drive. And the color is Kermit Kool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super portable I bought this because my point and shoot digital camera has proprietary software that I had to use to upload my photos, which was causing some problems on my laptop. It works great, is very small, easy to transport, and has worked with every computer I have tried it on thus far (but I have not tried it on a MAC). It had decent transfer speed as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works. Not fast. Use this with my 128gb SDXC card going into a 2008 macbook pro in the field. Going directly into a FW800 Lacie 1tb rugged drive, it ate an entire laptop battery offloading the 120 or so GB of photos/video from the card, and took a couple of hours. It's consistent though, and for $ is just fine, and very small for field work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast -- great I love it. It's fast. I use it with a USB extension cord, so I can plug it in without having to make sure it fits next to everything else I have plugged into my USB ports. The trick with that is that the SD card sticks out and depending on where the USB input is, it might not work if there's another cord under it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great I bought a 128gb SDXC card a few weeks ago, only to find that my thrive tablet was more than a little iffy when I tried to use it as a usb sdxc card reader. This inexpensive device solves the problem. Note that for XP, you need a patch if you want to write to exfat volumes.
