question

Hi ! I own a similar case from Tenba which is apparently now replaced by this newer model. My case had a soft insert which was completely removable: when on smaller planes or certain European airlines that would not allow the whole case to go as carry-on luggage I could check-in the completely empty outer-case and keep all the equipment with me as a carry-on luggage in the soft insert. Does this have a removable insert (consisting of the whole inside volume of the bag) as in the previous model? Hope my question is clear enough.. Not so easy to explain for a foreign customer / non-native English-speaker. Thank you for your help!
Asked by: Pierre M.
The removable interior feature was eliminated during the update to the Roadie II series. This decision was based on feedback from owners of previous Roadie models who told us that while they liked the idea of the feature, they found they never used it. My apologies for any inconvenience. We liked the feature too, but the removable interior adds some weight and slightly reduces the interior storage space, so it was important to eliminate it if it was not being utilized.

question

Has anyone put a 17 laptop in this case? I have a 17 Toshiba and I'm trying to find out if it will fit? It sounds like a good bag.
Asked by: Felita
It's a great bag -- and my 17 MacBook Pro fits fine in the big front pocket.
