This ARRI 750 Plus 4 ARRILITE Kit is an ideal core kit featuring 4 advanced design ARRILITE 750 Plus fixtures with scrims, 120 VAC lamps, stands, an accessory pack, and a heavy duty wheeled case.

The ARRILITE 750 Plus is an enhanced version of the tried-and-true ARRILITE open-face line. ARRI started with the basic design of the ARRILITE 800 and optimized the reflector to increase output 21% using HPL lamps which employ a compact filament that concentrates and augments light while increasing efficiency. The result is almost double the output. A redesigned one-arm stirrup instead of a yoke facilitates greater movement while the dedicated accessory holder allows use of Chimera softboxes without a speed ring.

HPL Lamps

The ARRILITE 750 Plus is compatible with 375, 575, and 750W lamps. These proprietary HPL (High Performance Lamp) lamps use a compact filament which concentrates the light and augments output. At 575 watts, the HPL lamp is capable of producing the equivalent of a 1000W lamp using previous technology.

High Efficiency Reflector

ARRIMAX reflector (750 Plus) enables better light distribution and higher output.

Accessory Holder/Speed Ring

Accessory holder permits a Chimera Video Pro Plus (optional) to be fitted directly, without an additional speed ring.

Light Stands

Offer lightweight, yet sturdy support to a height of 8.6' (2.6m).

Wheeled, Heavy Duty Case

The case employs a hard plastic shell, aluminum trim and latches and a piano hinge. It features interior dividers and wheels for easy storage and transport.

Hello, how hot is this lamp? I want to use it in my studio. is kind of small. And I am afraid to burn it out? does the light has a dimmer?
Asked by: Erik Francisco
Yes - This instrument gets hot - but you should be able to lamp it with 575 W or 750 W HPL bulbs. No dimmer is built into the instrument,

two questions really1. Is there an accessory i can pick up that will allow me to use a westcott parabolic umbrella easily with this (pointing the 750 into the umbrella or shooting through it)? My lightstand will be an impact branded chrome c-stand.2. im going to be shooting primarily outside and would like to daylight balance the light. I know this can be done with gels. The question i have is where and how to mount the gels w/o melting them. Thanks!
Asked by: Micah
1. This is a hanging fixture. You'd have to find some kind of adapter to change it to a stand mount. A 750W fixture is also possibly a bit too hot for your umbrella. You might consider a diffusion gel instead.2. For the gel, you'd want to use no-drip, fire resistant certified gels (Apollo, Rosco) & a gel frame available many places including B&H I'm sure. Check the diameter of the hole of the frame to be sure it is going to let most of your light thru, but you can use a generic gel frame.

Will the speed ring that comes with this light accept medium Quartz + Daylite softboxes from Chimera as well?If not, what is the speed ring diameter for this light, so I can seperately purchase one that fits my needs?
Asked by: Jay
I don't know... Sorry.

The spec sheet says this light accepts 750, 575 and 375W HPL lamps, but I couldn't find any 375W HPL lamps with a G9.5 base on B&H. Where can I find an appropriate one for a 220VAC, 50Hz socket?
Asked by: Jay
Jay - I would have to say if B&H doesn't carry any 375W HPL lamps with a G9.5 base, then they REALLY must be tough to find. I bought the Arrilite 750 Plus specifically because I was looking for a high output light. I coupled it with the 36x48 Chimera Medium Video Pro Plus 1 Softbox. A powerful, super creamy soft light had been recommended by DPs Alex Buono and Shane Hurlbut for solo filmmakers ( like myself ). Something that would be powerful and easy to set up and break down. I added the Impact D1000 1,000W AC Dimmer Control to give me some flexibility without worrying about changing out lamps. Both the Arrilite 750 Plus and the Chimera Softbox work great together, and do produce a lovely wrap-around light for interview subjects - which was my need. Maybe the dimmer is an idea for you? Hope this helps . . .

Does it come with a bulb inside? Or do you need to order the 750w bulb separately?
Asked by: Drew V.
The bulb is not included with the Arri Arrilite 750 Plus light fixture. You would have to purchase the bulb separately. As listed under the Accessories tab, I would recommend the Ushio HPL+ 750W Lamp (750W/120V), B&H# USHPL750, for your stated needs.
