Olympus 227655B reviews

Stylus 7010 Digital Camera (Silver) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Awkward?? I was excited about the prospect of the powerful zoom on this camera. I have two sport loving boys and end up at lots of sporting events where we never seem to be able to get close enough. I tried taking this camera to one of my son's wrestling matches and the initial pictures were terrible, dark and fuzzy. I finally had to tell the camera I was in candlelight to get any photo that had any clarity. The camera also seemed slow and had an akward feel to it. It almost felt like it was going to break in my hand. I never felt that way about the Panasonic Lumix I was upgrading from, so I decided to return this camera and stick with the Panasonic Lumix line

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Olympus blew it Formerly their top of the line point and shoot, new Stylus cameras no longer resemble previous models. The 7010 is thoroughly chincy. It's made entirely of plastic and it seems that the OS was repurposed from a toy. I've bought two earlier Stylus models - both were extremely high quality cameras and great values - the lenses and construction were top notch. In contrast, the 7010 broke on initial use: the lens motor quit. ... I was forced to deal with Olympus Warranty Service, which was also a disappointing experience. My advice is to avoid this cheap piece of junk. ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I highly recommend this camera!! This camera is fantastic. I purchased this camera as a Xmas gift for my fiance, who recently had her old Olympus camera stolen. In my search for a new camera, I researched between the Olympus 7010 and the 2 canon's- the SD780 and SD1200. The first thing you will notice about the Olympus is that the view screen is much larger than either of the 2 canon's, which is very important when you want to review pictures you just took. The picture quality on prints is great as well. In addition, the design of the Olympus is sleek, slim and comfortable, where I found the 2 canon's to be small and clunky. I have read some reviews that say the downside to the Olympus is that you have to use their proprietary xD card, but the camera comes with an adapter to use a miniSD card and I noticed no difference at all in image quality or camera speed.I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a mid-level personal use camera. Its modern, sleek looks combined with its comfort, ease of use and large screen make it a better buy for the money than either of the 2 comparable canons....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good thing in a small package! This a small single hand held multifunction tool. The picture quality far exceeds it's small appearance. Most of my photography requires a camera that can capture life on the go and the sports mode in this camera does that very well. Living in the wintery north, I haven't had much time for sunny outdoor photos, but the inside photos have been very good. Glad I researched this item and purchased it. Thanks to all the reviews on this camera as it helped in my decision.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Impressed I was very impressed with this little camera. It has many features, seems to have a short lag time, the video feature is easy to use, and the Beauty setting really makes a nice subtle difference in the tone and texture of the skin. The size is perfect. I recommend this camera to anyone who is just wants a nice, easy to use and affordable point and shoot

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Point-and-Shoot CAM Cool Features, like Panorama maker on the camera, beauty shot, Camera Mode w/digital zoom during video option. Shutter Speed is exteremly fast almost instant, great for capturing those fastmoving moments. Batter Life about 600+ pictures with flash, Re-charable Ion Battery.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Nice Camera This is a nice, easy-to-use camera. It takes crisp pictures with a very good 7x zoom and excellent macro functionality. I would have preferred standard batteries (i.e. AAs). But I simply bought a spare after-market battery that holds a good charge and keep it on hand.
