question

Does T3i Have multiple exposure capabilities?
Asked by: Anonymous
Are you looking to expose twice on the same image? The answer is no, but the simple workaround is to place a lens cap back on the camera or a black cloth over the lens, then re-expose the image to create that double exposure.

question

My canon t3i has developed a red dot on the screen which is coming from the sensor. I know it is not the lens as I have tried several. Does anyone have any advise on how to go about fixing this problem? Thank you.
Asked by: Katie K.
Karen, I have not experienced this with my Canon, BUT, remember having read an article about this at one time. I googled the question, and found this article Dead vs Stuck vs Hot Pixels at Photography Life.It talks about dead, hot (red), or stuck dots or pixels on an LCD screen or coming from the camera sensor. If I understand the article correctly, IF the red dot is from the sensor, AND it is showing up on all your JPG photos, your option is to get the camera remapped at a repair shop. I don't know if B&H repairs (they would be my FIRST choice) Canons, but if they do not, google Canon Certified Camera repair shops. I just had terrific service with a certified Nikon repair shop in GA, so I hope you can do the same. Good Luck!

question

Can you used the Canon EOS Rebel with Canon FD lens, and will it affect the auto function of the FD lens?
Asked by: Anonymous
The Canon EOS Rebel T3i is compatible only with Canon EF mount lenses. There is a FotodioX adapter enabling the use of FD lenses on EF mount camera bodies, however, it will not retain any electronic lens functions such as autofocus, and will be manual only: http://bhpho.to/TxRxFO
