The Formatt Series 9 Cool Blue #1 Hard Graduated Filter is a hard-edged graduated color filter providing a steely blue color across the image, giving a cooling effect for your photographs. The graduated filter design keeps a portion of the image neutral, resulting in a more realistic look while allowing for the sky or other bright areas to take on the color of the density.
The filter is compatible with Series 9 holders and is constructed from specially formulated CR-39 resin sandwiched between two layers of high-quality Schott glass. The #1 filter is the least dense of the series and provides a subtle amount of cool blue coloration.
Cool blue tint gives a portion of the image a cooling effect.
Hard-edged graduation to clear in order to retain a neutral portion of the image.
Compatible with Series 9 filter holder
Formatt filters combine high-quality Schott glass with specially formulated CR-39 resin in order to contain synthetic dyes while still garnering the benefits of optical glass.
