The Jammin StudioPack 702 brings you a recording studio all in one box, allowing you to play, mix, and record without the need for a computer. The kit provides all the necessary tools to get started right away including a StudioMix 702 7-channel mixer with USB player/recorder, a handheld, dynamic vocal microphone with an XLR mic cable, a compact and portable tabletop mic stand, and a set of full-size headphones to monitor your music or podcast recordings. Just plug in a USB drive (sold separately) and you're set to go.
The versatile mixer offers multiple connectivity options in a compact and portable format. It features a mono channel with an XLR input and a microphone preamp that also provides phantom power should you want to connect a condenser studio microphone. That channel is also equipped with a 1/4" input for plugging in an instrument such as a guitar or bass. Two sets of stereo line inputs let you connect stereo keyboards and/or external playing devices. A third stereo channel is dedicated to playback from a USB flash drive.
An integrated USB player/recorder allows you to record stereo audio in MP3 format. Adjust your recording level and press the record button to create live mix recordings. Playback is just as simple, thanks to the dedicated play/pause button. Input level meters let you keep visual tabs on audio levels, while tone, balance, and level controls let you shape the audio to meet your needs.
The stereo headphones feature a closed-backed design that attenuates external noise, enabling you to clearly hear the details of your recording. The kit includes a software CD containing Audacity for recording to a computer and Magix Entertainment Audio Cleaning Lab SE software to edit or clean up your recordings after a live session.
