    Shure SE315 reviews

    SE315 Sound-Isolating In-Ear Stereo Earphones (Black) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blows away any previous pair These headphones are the next level for me. I had an old pair of Shure headphones which were already awesome, these are over the top for me. The fit is great, and the earbuds fit on my ear in such a low profile that I don't have to worry about knocking them out, or accidentally losing one. Absolutely worth the price--now I only need music with the right compression to hear what these baby's are capable of. Worth the price for me as I do audio monitoring for weddings and other events and love my music to be played without outside intrusion at the gym.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Spendy, but worth it I use these daily in an office environment, since getting these can listen to music at a reasonable level with out the background noise. I also use these while ridding motorcycle, I use to wear earplugs on long trips to combat wind noise, these are almost as good at knocking out the wind while still being able to listen to music. Overall the sound quality is Great, I have not had any other headphones in this price range but these are way better than any other headphones I have used before. Overall the multiple tips give lots of options, I use the silicone tips in the office because the pop in and out easily, but the foam tends to be a little more secure in my opinion. They can be a little annoying to take on and off and I can't leave them in for hours at a time with out taking a break but for the most part they are comfortable and have great sound quality and more comfortable than any ear bud I have used before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic replacement for my e4c Absolutely LOVE the fit. Sound quality - there are no comments needed. These are SHUREs and that tells you everything. You get exactly what you pay for. Fantastic value for the price. If you pay more, get the SE4xx or SE5xx - those may be better but for me the potential improvement in quality is not worth the extra to pay. These are the perfect balance between price and quality. Bought these to replace my soon-to-die from often airplane usage Shure e4c. These seem to be built better and smarter in terms of durability than my e4c.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for music and work These buds are great for ENG purposes, listening to music and for your cell. Known for their flat response you hear the high and low frequencies clearly. The way sound is suppose to be heard. Their new design allows the buds to be disconnected from the cable. Great for troubleshooting and sending the individual pieces in for service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really not good... I've had these for about a week. I previously owned the E3C Shure earphones which I very unfortunately left on an airplane. I purchased these thinking they would be a great upgrade but i was very wrong. Basically, the sound is coming through a 1/64 inch opening that you are supposed to align with your eardrum. To me, despite going through all of the various foam tips & wiggling & sticking these dangerously into my ear, the sound never seems very robust. Always kind of tinny with a trace of an echo. By comparison, Apple's stock earbuds that come with an ipod or iphone, sound so much better. the packaging for this item is so complicated that you basically have to destroy it, to get the product out. If I could return these I would. ( I've been doing audio production for film & TV for 25 years. )

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too much whiz and not enough bang I used this product with the Fiio X5 portable high res music player. Was used for the gym, walking and casual listening. I didn't really care for the comfort of the headphones and the audio quality that I was getting. I think the sound quality is comparable to Bose when I would think Shure is a more professional and better sounding system but I was wrong. The ear pieces weren't easy to assembleYou have to pay a lot for a better sounding pair than these to notice a difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid. I would recommend. To all the musicians out there, & folks who would like to hear sound in its true form, this product is for you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Earphones I purchased these after having my backpack stolen with my laptop, ipod and all accessorizes including my Shure SE115's. The new 315's are superior in almost every way. Here is my personal opinion of the product: Pros: 1. Sound isolation is second to none! Especially when you use the black expanding foam ear pieces. 2. Sound quality is extraordinary for earbuds. I have been a musician all my life. As a result I have very high expectations. These earphones have great range and just enough base for me personally. I know others have commented that there is not enough bass, but I am perfectly happy. 3. Durability seems to be very good. Although they are plastic, the feel in hand is of a very sturdy device. Cons: 1. Cost of the product was on the high side. I purchased them only because I wanted to know what serious money would get me in terms of earbuds. This is only a con because I feel they would be more correctly priced at around $130-160. 2. Comfort of the product is not what I would like. I have tried all the earpieces and found what I think are the most appropriate for my ears. Unlike the old SE115's, I cannot leave these in for more than about 1.5hrs. The flexi wire to wrap around your ear is a good idea, but I am constantly having to adjust them in relation to my glasses earpiece. I hope that these small things work their way out in the next several months. Conclusion: These are a great set of earbuds. I would highly recommend them to those who want a step up from what they are currently using, but don't want to shell out several hundred dollars. Hope this helps.
