The VoiceTone D1 Doubling and Detune Pedal by TC-Helicon thickens live vocals with eight, realistic doubling emulations and detune effects. The doubling effect creates multiple, pitch-shifted voices from your lead vocal and produces a realistic, unison vocal effect that sounds like you're singing with a group of people or recorded multiple vocal tracks in the studio. Single and multi-voice doubling styles include tight, loose, group, detune, thick, octave up/down and even a group shout so you can get as crazy as you want to be.
The D1 is no less than roadworthy with its die-cast metal enclosure and rubberized no-slip base. It features a clean and detailed mic pre with phantom power and a balanced XLR output which delivers studio quality analog to digital conversion. The XLR out also enables linking of multiple VoiceTone pedals so you can create a unique and distinct vocal chain which can be used time and time again on any song.
Use the D1 with TC-Helicon's MP-75 Modern Performance Vocal Microphone and the pedal's effects can be turned off and on via a convenient thumb switch right on the handle. What's more, is a mini USB port connecting the pedal to TC-Helicon's VoiceSupport application offers helpful tips, tricks, updates and more.
